Miniature Pink And White Adenium (Desert Rose)
Adeniums, also known as desert roses, are growing in popularity. Commonly available in a single pink flower form, newer cultivars feature double and triple blooms in a wider variety of colours.
Adeniums are succulent shrubs from Africa and Arabia. They require at least moderate sunshine and well draining soil. Poor drainage leads to rot. I recently acquired this miniature adenium. It bloomed for the first time today.
This is a pretty one Trini Garden! Adenium is one of the first plants that I grow when I started to garden seriously. My friend is now facing problem with her adenium. She has been sending me messages on her rotting adenium. You are right about drainage. The plant needs to have good drainage to thrive :-)
How I love blogging! It's wonderful to meet fellow bloggers from around the world and see beautiful flowers that I can only dream about. Loving your Desert Rose! Happy Gardening!
Hi from the tropical Philippines. I have a few seedlings i raised from seeds, but they don't get enough light so not growing nicely. But i have one in my 5th floor in the city which is now about a foot, but am still looking for a different seedling to be grafted to it. I love the yellows and whites as the pink single is the common here, just like my stock.
This is very pretty! I don't have one of these in my gardens. Will have to see if I can find these at nurseries around here.
Thank you for visiting my blog. Yes, it is amazing that so many color variations are on this one hibiscus bush. I just love it and each bloom is thrilling.

I didn't know they came in miniatures. Beautiful.
This is a lovely plant, but I know it as a houseplant of course, never seen it grown outside.

Currently I have a collection of ten types of Adeniums and plan to cultivate them into taller and larger specimens. Over here, they bloom year round.

Have a great week ~ FlowerLady
É uma planta muito exótica e suas flores são de um colorido intenso e um efeito lindíssimo! Tenho algumas e estou muito feliz em vê-las florescer!!!
I aquired 3 small pots from my mum which they all end up dead and rotting due to overwatering.
Right now I keep them on my balcony together with my cactus and succulents and only water them once a week.
They are slow to grow but surely as long as they are alive - I don't mind.
Adenium is a new plant to me. It certainly has a lovely flower. Thanks for sharing it on your blog!
